Personal Therapy

For almost two years now this blog has been an interesting experiment for me. Since I started this blog, I have learned many new things about myself and I hope to continue learning new things as I post more items to this blog in the future. I have written many entries for this blog on many topics, many of which have never, nor will ever, be posted. But from these personal writings I hope to extract some topics that may be of interest to readers by providing a small perspective on my mixed up world.

Before I started this blog, many of my written thoughts were my private domain. Writing them down was one thing but letting other see them, especially strangers, felt embarrassing. I guess you could call it a type of stage fright. Now that my blog entries have been there for a while I am more comfortable with what I have said and hopefully more comfortable with what I may say in the future.

Initially, I did not let many of my friends know about this blog and still many do not know about it. This may be partly because of my stage fright, since many of my friends do not know I write on the side for my own enjoyment, and second because I didn’t know if they would accept this part of me. But after a while one friend stumbled upon this blog, enjoyed it, and that lead me to tell another. From there who knows where it will go.

Hopefully this blog is well received and hopefully I don’t come across as too much of a fool. I hope my thoughts, which are important to me, are understood by others. I don’t expect this blog to contain exotic wisdom or the solution for world peace. I just hope my thoughts and opinions may make someone think, “That’s cool”.

So whether you enjoy these ramblings or not, remember, I write them for me.

Enjoy.
